100% RE is 100% Possible
With COP21 in Paris fast approaching, Canadians are gearing up and getting ready for the Climate March in Ottawa on November 29th.
Several organizations like Environmental Defence and Greenpeace have organized buses to help get people to Ottawa for the March, get your tickets here.
100% Renewable Energy Goes Global
The Solutions Project, in collaboration with Stanford University, has created an interactive map that illustrates what 100% clean, renewable energy will look like in 139 countries across the globe by 2050.
350ppm of CO2
350.org is a non profit organization based in United States with local groups organizing all around the world. They aim to build a global climate movement through grassroots organizing, online campaigns, and mass public action.
“The number 350 means climate safety: to preserve a livable planet, scientists tell us we must reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from its current level of 400 parts per million to below 350 ppm.”
