Two public meetings are being planned in Halton for this fall.

Solar Photovoltaic Information Meeting:

Wednesday, September 30, 2021
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Oakville Town Hall, South Atrium
1225 Trafalgar Rd., Oakville, just north of the QEW

Are you thinking about putting solar panels on your roof to generate electricity?  Did you know that you can sell that electricity to the grid?  Join the Halton Residential Solar Project for this free public information meeting.  Guest speakers are:

Ryan Colwell, Certified Financial Planner, C & C Planning Group:
Investment and Tax Aspects of the Feed-In Tariff

Solar Fair:

Saturday, October 17, 2021
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Milton Sports Centre
605 Santa Maria Blvd., Milton
at Derry Rd., west of Hwy. 25

Vendors of solar hot water and photovoltaic (PV) equipment will be displaying and explaining their products and answering questions throughout the afternoon. Project team members, including a financial advisor, will be ready to answer questions. Home energy auditors, hydro representatives, and local environmental groups will also have displays.

A series of one-hour workshops is also being offered:

1:00 Solar Information - Understanding What You're Buying
       Guest speaker: Ken Traynor, Toronto Renewable Energy Co-op

2:00 Energy Conservation and Home Energy Audits
       Guest speaker: Jeff Daley, The Energuy
